Rebuild Murphy High School

On December 25th, 2012, Tornadoes swept across Mobile and the surrounding area.  While many structures were damaged, perhaps the most visible was Murphy High School.

Many of the buildings were heavily damaged including roof destruction to the auditorium, biology hall, band room, main building, and athletic field house. Ninety-five percent of the covered walkways around campus have been destroyed. Most of the oak trees along Carlen Street were either damaged or destroyed.

The Murphy High School Alumni Association has established a "Rebuilding Fund" to cover what will surely be an expensive endeavor to return the school to its former glory.

If you would like to donate to this fund, you may do so by clicking the link below.
